Integrated Humanitarian Aid (IHA) is committed to upholding the dignity, rights, and safety of every individual we serve. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) by our staff, volunteers, contractors, partners, or anyone associated with our programs.
We believe that every person has the right to receive humanitarian assistance free from exploitation, abuse, discrimination, or harassment. Respect, accountability, integrity, and safeguarding are at the core of everything we do.
What is Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA)?
Sexual Exploitation and Abuse refers to any actual or attempted abuse of a position of vulnerability, power, or trust for sexual purposes, including profiting financially, socially, or politically from the sexual exploitation of another person. It also includes any actual or threatened sexual activity carried out through force, coercion, or unequal power.
No beneficiary is ever expected to provide sexual favors, money, gifts, or any other benefit in exchange for humanitarian assistance or services.
Speak Up – Your Voice Matters
If you experience, witness, or suspect any incident of Sexual Exploitation or Abuse involving an IHA staff member, volunteer, contractor, or partner, we encourage you to report it immediately.
All reports are treated with the highest level of confidentiality and respect. Reporting in good faith will not affect your access to humanitarian assistance or services.

When making a report, please include as much information as you feel comfortable sharing, such as:
- What happened
- When and where it occurred
- Who was involved (if known)
- Any supporting information that may help with the investigation
You may also report anonymously if you prefer.
