” Integrated Humanitarian Aid (IHA): Saving Lives Through Explosive Ordnance Risk Education Outreach”.

Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) is a specialized form of education focused on informing communities, individuals, and organizations about the dangers associated with explosive ordnance, such as landmines, unexploded bombs, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and other explosive hazards. Through our community outreaches in all our operational areas, the following results were realized:

Support for Post-Conflict Recovery: Reduced explosive risks contribute to economic development, agriculture, and rebuilding efforts by creating a safer environment.

Reduced Accidents and Injuries: Increased knowledge and awareness lead to fewer incidents involving explosive hazards, saving lives and preventing injuries.

Enhanced Community Safety: Communities became more vigilant and capable of recognizing and avoiding explosive ordnance, creating a safer environment.

Improved Reporting and Clearance: More community members report suspected explosive devices, facilitating faster clearance and demining efforts.

Increased Cooperation: Communities cooperate with demining organizations and authorities, supporting clearance operations.

Empowered Communities: Local populations gain confidence and skills to protect themselves, fostering resilience and self-reliance.

Long-term Behavior Change: Sustained awareness promotes ongoing safe practices even after initial education campaigns end.

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring community safety and fostering post-conflict recovery, we are dedicated to implementing comprehensive Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) programs in affected areas.

Despite significant progress, the threat of landmines, unexploded ordnance, and other explosive hazards remains a critical challenge that endangers lives, hampers development, and hampers the return to normalcy for affected communities.

To maximize the impact of our efforts and reach more vulnerable populations, we kindly seek Partnership with you to support us in the following ways:

Funding for community outreach and educational campaigns

Provision of training materials and resources

Support for capacity building of local volunteers and educators
